Activate Interactive Pte Ltd, headquartered in Singapore, is seeking a fixed-term Software Engineer for 12 months to design, build, and maintain web applications, APIs, and AI-enabled features. You will work closely with product managers and operations teams on real workflows and ensure high-quality code across the stack.

The role requires hands-on experience with Node.js, React and TypeScript, plus strong fundamentals in full-stack architecture, testing and cloud basics.

Qualificações

• Solid full-stack experience across web front end (React), backend APIs (Node.js) and relational databases, with TypeScript as your main language.
• Ability to design a system within constraints and explain trade-offs.
• Working understanding of concurrency (threads, event loops, async/await).
• Habit of writing tests and using typed code; strong version control and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with cloud basics: containers, managed services, object storage and job queues.
• Methodical debugging across system boundaries (network calls, third-party services, OS).
• Clear communication and comfort with evolving requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and maintain web applications, APIs, background jobs and database models.
• Turn real user and operational workflows into reliable software with product/ops collaboration.
• Integrate AI services (LLMs, computer vision, OCR) with controlled failures and costs.
• Write tested, typed code; participate in code reviews, CI/CD, incident follow-ups.
• Contribute to system design discussions and document decisions for future engineers.
• Handle cross-stack work including integration or desktop components.
• Maintain systems, including API integrations with government systems and compliance tasks.
