Job summary

Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore offers an internship within our Internal Audit Branch. You will gain practical experience in internal audit practices, data analytics, and AI applications while supporting our digital transformation initiatives.

You will conduct audits using data analytics tools, assist in developing GenAI tools, and help improve audit processes to align with Global Internal Audit Standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student in Accountancy programmes.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Interest in emerging technologies, especially AI.

What the role is:

• Conduct internal audits using data analytics tools and testing scripts
• Assist in developing and testing GenAI tools to enhance audit work effectiveness and efficiency
• Help improve internal audit processes to align with Global Internal Audit Standards
• Support process reviews, documentation updates, and quality assurance framework development
• Apply emerging technologies to traditional audit practices

What we are looking for:

• Students from Accountancy programmes preferred
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Interest in emerging technologies, particularly AI
• Programming knowledge (SAS, Python, SQL) and prior audit/analytics experience preferred but not essential

Internship Duration: Minimally 3 months, commence from October 2026 onwards
