Job description

As an Interior and Furniture Design Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining detailed records of design and conversion activities. You will prepare and submit regular reports on departmental performance and productivity, analyzing data to identify recurring errors and areas for improvement. Collaborating with sales, production, and installation teams is essential to ensure design accuracy and feasibility. Additionally, you will proactively address inter-departmental issues impacting design efficiency.Your technical responsibilities include following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for design tasks, tracking recurring mistakes to reduce errors, and customizing modular furniture systems based on client specifications and site measurements. Ensuring client preferences for product range, color shades, and any deviations from standard modules are considered before drawing preparation is crucial. You will also coordinate with the Project Coordinator for revisions, maintain detailed revision logs, and submit final conversion drawings to the production team. Creating 3D models and technical drawings using IMOS CAD software, generating cutting lists, and updating design libraries are part of your core responsibilities.Key Skills & Requirements:- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.- Proficiency in IMOS CAD and ERP software is mandatory.- Strong knowledge of modular furniture systems and construction techniques.- Attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.- Excellent coordination and communication abilities.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively.,
