Job description

This role is a key position within the APAC Coordination Centre team. It is one of the most visible and client-facing roles on the team, handling a varied and significant caseload. This position serves as the primary caseworker, working closely with business immigration analysts and senior team members across departments.

You will be the main point of contact for specific countries on behalf of a client and will play a vital role in client relationships, acting as the “face” of the firm. A deep understanding of the client’s objectives and goals in each country is essential. This role works in partnership with Managers to cultivate strong client relationships and ensure best practices across the wider team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position requires the delivery of high-level strategic compliance services to the firm’s corporate client base, in coordination with external co-counsel. You will be assigned responsibility for several countries within the Asia Pacific region, coordinating visa processes and developing tailored immigration advice for a variety of Fragomen clients.

Throughout the visa processing lifecycle, you will maintain communication with key client contacts to ensure they are kept informed on the progress of all applications.

You will also build and maintain strong relationships with relevant third-party vendors to ensure effective communication and the delivery of high-quality service, as expected by both Fragomen and the client. Additionally, you will monitor legal or procedural changes that may affect current or future applications and provide timely updates to clients as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • University degree in Law, HR, Business, or a related field.

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in the immigration field; regional experience is an advantage.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure.

  • A collaborative team player who builds trust through professionalism and efficient communication.

  • Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines consistently.

  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality.

  • Able to work independently under limited supervision.

  • High attention to detail and precision.

  • Proactive in resolving client issues and handling escalations.
