Job summary

Singapore General Hospital seeks an imaging informatics professional to manage and optimize RIS, PACS, and EMR workflows, ensuring seamless patient care.

You will provide first-level on-call support, collaborate with radiologists and IT teams, develop training for end-users, and monitor system performance. The ideal candidate holds a degree in health informatics or IT and has knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Radiography or a related field.
• Experience with imaging informatics systems (RIS, PACS) and understanding of imaging standards (DICOM, HL7) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work on-call shifts, including after hours and weekends as part of a rotation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation, integration, and maintenance of imaging informatics systems (RIS, PACS, EMR).
• Support AI solutions in medical imaging for efficiency and diagnostic accuracy.
• Serve as first point of contact for imaging-related issues with on-call support.
• Collaborate with radiologists, clinicians, and IT teams to ensure data flow and image accessibility.
• Develop and deliver end-user training to maximize system utilization.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
• Document and escalate unresolved issues to second-level support or vendors when needed.
• Keep updated in AI and imaging informatics to recommend innovative solutions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and data security protocols.
• Participate in system upgrades, testing, and validation to maintain performance.
