Job Description

About the job

Reporting to the Shopkeeper, the Kitchen Specialist provides excellent sales service and maximise kitchen furniture and accessories sales by using knowledge in the range, customers’ requirements, as well as the IKEA tools and experience and expertise of your colleagues.

Your assignment

  • To offer informed solutions and services to customers by using range knowledge in assembly, kitchen installation, transport and finance to help customers make informed choices
  • Able to explain and demonstrate the IKEA kitchen system and support customers by providing clear and structured guides through kitchen planning and buying process
  • Help gather relevant information by seeking to understand customers' needs and support customers with accurate kitchen design and layout
  • Maximize sales by knowing your top selling products and do sales steering and keeping yourself aware on stock availability
  • Work with kitchen service provider closely to ensure IKEA kitchens are delivered and installed on time
Qualifications
  • Good knowledge with kitchen planning, floor plan, layout, site measurement and kitchen installation
  • Customer-serviced focused with a passion for sales in retail home furnishing business
  • Problem solver, self-motivated and a strong team player
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with basic knowledge of PC
  • You have interest to progress to a leadership role in future
  • You are physically fit to handle physical work and pro-longed hours of standing
  • You are able to commit to working on AM & PM shift work, weekends and public holidays
