About the job

Reporting to the Shopping Experience Manager and Team Leader, you will serve as a liaison officer to provide a positive and joyful shopping experience, fostering trust in the IKEA brand for all visitors and customers.

Your responsibilities
  1. Ensure IKEA Tampines Store is a friendly, safe, and secure environment for all visitors and customers.
  2. Understand and contribute to the department’s action plans, taking ownership of your deliverables.
  3. Be knowledgeable about the customer shopping experience and daily checklists to improve service delivery.
  4. Be responsible for children’s safety and cleanliness in Smaland, as well as amenities such as the First Aid Room and Nursing Room.
  5. Plan, coordinate, and follow up on IKEA Family activities and Children’s Birthday Parties in the store.
  6. Handle all customer queries or complaints professionally to enhance shopping experience.
  7. Record information, handle paperwork, compile statistics, and perform general housekeeping and related duties.
  8. Be cross-trained in other functions within Customer Relations (e.g., Checkout and Easy Buying) and support these functions when required.
Your profile
  1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for children and people.
  2. A committed and motivated team player capable of working independently.
  3. Ability to cope with stress and provide solutions for customer and operational issues.
  4. Good computer literacy, multi-tasking ability, and enjoyment of hands-on operational roles.
  5. Willingness to work retail shifts during store hours, including weekends and public holidays.
