Your Role

Our Corporate Actuarial Services P&C team is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified IFRS Actuarial Analyst to work in our Singapore office.

Your Key Responsibilities

• IFRS Closing: Assist with allactuarial aspects around IFRS closing, including checking inputs, analysing,validating, and explaining IFRS results.
• Reporting andDisclosures:Assist with the provision of IFRS actuarial reports and disclosures asrequired by local reporting regimes. Assist local finance teams in compiling IFRS regulatory reports asrequired within local regimes.
• Collaboration: Work withlocal finance teams and auditors to answer IFRS questions of an actuarialnature. Collaborate with thecentral IFRS development team to develop and improve existing processesand implement new regions adopting IFRS 17.
  
• BusinessUnderstanding: Work closely with reserving actuaries tounderstand the underlying business and how it impacts on IFRS results.
  
• Project Work: Participatein other projects assigned to the CAS P&C IFRS team.

Your Profile

• Nearly or newly qualified actuary with at least 2 years of relevant actuarial experience in a P&C insurer/reinsurer.
• Experience of IFRS reporting for a (re)insurer. Experience with IFRS implementation is an advantage.
• Excellent coding skills for automating checking and reporting of IFRS results. Experience with R (and/or Python) and SQL is an advantage.
• Ability to prioritise competing deadlines; organised and solution-focused.
