Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Business Growth & Strategy:

- Develop and execute business development strategies to identify and secure new opportunities in the IFM sector.

- Research market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to drive strategic decision-making.

- Work closely with senior management to align business development goals with company objectives.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

- Identify, engage, and build strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.

- Develop proposals, presentations, and tenders for new business opportunities.

- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure continued business growth.

Tender & Contract Management:

- Lead the preparation and submission of bids for IFM contracts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

- Negotiate and finalize contracts in collaboration with legal and finance teams.

Sustainability & Compliance:

- Leverage the SIFMA CFME Certification to ensure compliance with best practices in facilities management.

- Promote sustainability initiatives and innovative solutions in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaboration & Teamwork:

- Work cross-functionally with operations, finance, and technical teams to develop tailored solutions for clients.

- Represent the company at industry events, networking sessions, and SIFMA-related engagements.

Key Requirements:

Education & Certification:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.

- SIFMA Certified Facilities Management Expert (CFME) Certification – Mandatory.

Experience:

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the facilities management industry.

- Strong understanding of IFM services, contract management, and sustainability practices.

Skills & Competencies:

- Excellent negotiation and sales skills with a proven ability to close deals.

- Strong strategic thinking and market analysis capabilities.

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and tender preparation tools.
