A leading company in ICT is seeking an ICT Trainer to conduct training sessions for students and staff. The role includes developing educational resources, supporting digital literacy initiatives, and providing technical assistance for school functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and ICT, focusing on enhancing students' digital skills and competencies.
The candidate will be required to:
• conduct computer training for students on multimedia applications;
• work with the HOD ICT to develop new and review existing training resources/programme to ensure ICT implementation and integration are aligned to school’s needs and interests so that students attain proficiency in school-identified digital competencies and technological skills;
• develop training resources that are required for training sessions of the students and staff;
• train students (Pri 1-6) on digital literacy skills and safe use of online tools;
• assist in ICT-related training for staff, InfoComm Club as well as ICT Student Leaders;
• assist in handling of inventory of various AV/IT equipment in various school locations (classrooms, hall, parade square, special rooms etc.) to support various school events/needs;
• provide support for school functions, such as set up and manage Public Address (PA) equipment for National Day, Awards Day etc; and Microsoft Teams/Zoom meetings/ webinars;
• support school events in terms of photography & videography, including photo and video editing;
• archive, manage and organise the school's media collection (photos, videos and documents etc);
• support school website design & maintenance;
• provide technical support in Computer Labs, and/or small-group teaching that meets students’ learning needs; and
• assist in providing assessment of students, monitor the effectiveness of ICT related teaching programmes provided and work together with the HOD/SH ICT to recommend refinements to the programme to enhance students’ learning.
