What The Role Is

We are working on a Digital Transformation Programme to transform how endpoint support is provided to officers through re-engineering work processes and automation. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the design, implementation, operations, and support of our enterprise endpoints management solutions. You are expected to have a strong infrastructure and endpoint background. You will work closely with peers from other teams like network and security to ensure a holistic view during the design and implementation, aiming for the best experience for end-users in network performance, usability, accessibility, and security.

What You Will Be Working On

1. Work with infrastructure architects to rationalise the technical design and ensure the solution aligns with infrastructure, policies, standards, and security requirements.
2. Translate technical solutions/designs into technical specifications and functional requirements.
3. Lead outsourced service providers and product principals to manage delivery, operations, and Tech Refresh on endpoint services such as Endpoint Protection, Network Access Control, Windows OS, Microsoft Office, M365, System Center Configuration Manager, Systems Center Operations Manager, Microsoft Intune, and BigFix.
4. Ensure operational processes and controls are documented and operationalized.
5. Explore new solutions and technologies, integrate learnings, and recommend improvements for operational efficiency and user experience, including incident management.
6. Oversee endpoint systems management tools to ensure compliance.
7. Engage stakeholders and update management and users on pain points and requirements for future planning.
8. Embark on a learning culture, guiding and training peers to improve team performance.

What We Are Looking For

1. Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in related disciplines, or equivalent competencies.
2. Knowledge of end-user computing technologies, including OS, GPO, networking fundamentals, and service automation.
3. Experience with software packing tools, scripting, deployment, endpoint protection tools, and monitoring tools.
4. Knowledge of Windows 10 OS and experience with OS upgrades.
5. Proven vendor management and troubleshooting skills.
6. Proactive, analytical, and capable of multitasking.
7. Strong interpersonal, customer service, team, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Certification/Skills

1. Certification in Windows 10 or endpoint technologies.
2. ITIL Foundation, BigFix or SCCM, Enterprise Administration Expert certifications.
3. MS365 Fundamentals.
