IT Operations Division

Sitting within Data & Technology Architecture Department, the job holder is responsible:

• Support IT Infrastructure migration project as Database SME (Oracle) of critical IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to operations.
• Create and maintain Unix shell scripts for automation and system maintenance tasks.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Elastic Search infrastructure, including data ingestion, indexing, and search performance optimization.
• Develop and maintain Kibana dashboards for report generation and visualization of data insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement machine learning models for data analysis and predictive insights.
• Utilize observability concepts to monitor and improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of Elastic Search clusters.

What we are looking for

• Only Singaporeans
• Knowledge and experience in supporting database systems - Oracle, MySQL and Postgres.
• Solid Unix knowledge and scripting skills for system administration and automation tasks.
• Familiarity with observability tools and practices for monitoring and optimizing system performance.
• Proven experience in supporting and maintaining Elastic Search infrastructure in a production environment.
• Proficiency in data ingestion techniques and creating visualizations using Kibana.
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and their application in data analysis.
• Experience with implementing machine learning algorithms within Elastic Search for data analysis and anomaly detection.
• Familiarity with observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
