Job summary

SEDHA CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Network & Security Engineer to lead deployment projects across Datacenter, Campus, Remote Offices and Public Cloud networks in Singapore.

You will design, deploy and operate high-availability network solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role requires extensive experience with Cisco ACI, Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls, F5 load balancers and WAF, plus strong security fundamentals and vendor management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8–14 years of experience in core Network technologies including Cisco ACI, Checkpoint & Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 Load balancer & WAF.
• Experience leading and managing complex networks for Datacenter or Public cloud migration projects.
• Certifications: CCIE, CCNP, PCNSE, CCSE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty or equivalents.
• Strong fundamentals in LAN, WAN and Network Security technologies and products.
• Excellent project and vendor management skills and communication with non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead network deployment projects and ensure timely implementation of network solutions.
• Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers for architecture, procurement and installation.
• Provide Tier-3 support for Network & Security issues and participate in on-call rotation.
• Create, review High/Low Level Design and operational practices across teams.
• Drive network operations and daily task efficiencies through automation.
• Experience with AI tools in network operations and anomaly detection.
• Deploy and configure MCP servers to enable LLM interactions with network infra (desirable).

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Network & Security Engineer to join our team in the Network Operations and Engineering function. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure. The role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the network.

Roles & Responsibilities

Part of a team that is responsible for the Network Engineering, Operations & Deployment function and supporting Datacenter, Campus, Remote Offices and Public Cloud Network.

This is a technical hands-on role in the Network Services team as Senior Network & Security Engineer.

• Lead network deployment projects, ensuring timely and successful implementation of network solutions.
• Work closely with vendors and third-party providers for Solution Architecture, Equipment procurement and installation.
• Provide Tier-3 support for Network & Security related issues and participate in a rotating Network Operations on-call schedule, including weekends, supporting a multi-vendor network for Enterprise Network.
• Create, maintain and review High Level Design, Low Level Design & Operational practices across the teams.
• Drive network operations and day-to-day task efficiencies through Automation.
• Experience in deploying and working with AI tools applied to network operations, including AIOps platforms, AI-assisted troubleshooting, and anomaly detection
• Experience in the deployment and configuration of Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to enable large language models to interact with and query network infrastructure and operational data is highly desirable.

Preferred qualifications

A bachelor’s degree and 8 -14 years of experience in core Network technologies including Cisco ACI, Checkpoint & Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 Load balancer & WAF.

• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing complex network for Datacenter or Public cloud migration projects.
• Proven ability to implement and oversee large-scale network deployments.
• One or more of the following Certifications - CCIE, CCNP, PCNSE, CCSE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty or equivalents
• Strong fundamental knowledge in LAN, WAN and Network Security technologies and products.
• Excellent project and vendor management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence and communicate effectively with non-technical audiences and senior management.

Mandatory Skillsets

• Expertise in Cisco ACI Multi Pod / Multi Site deployments.
• Expertise in Application Delivery Network products – F5 Load balancers & WAF
• Expertise in managing Checkpoint & Palo Alto Firewalls & IPS

Good to have Skillsets

• Experience in Application Delivery Network products –Bluecoat Proxy & Akamai CDN.
• Experience in managing Infoblox IPAM, DNS, DHCP solutions.
• Experience in managing Micro segmentation products like Illumio and Guardicore.
• Experience in managing Voice Infrastructure with Cisco CUCM and Verint Recorders.
• Experience in managing network management systems like SolarWinds, Riverbed & Thousand Eyes.
• Experience in performing Deep packet capture analysis using Wireshark or Similar products.
• Experience in Network Automation using Ansible & Terraform.
• Experience in managing Network Security Products like NAC, ISE & Algosec.
