Job summary

V-SWIFT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an ICT Educator to foster an e-learning culture, develop home-based learning resources, and create digital materials for teachers.

You will train staff and students, provide software support, coach projects, and support IT initiatives with MOE-aligned pedagogy. Canditates should have ICT certifications and Scratch mastery, with strong classroom management.

Qualifications

• Certification in ICT such as computing, engineering or infocommunication.
• Knowledgeable in website programming and Google Docs.
• Proficient in Scratch Junior, Scratch 3.0, Delightex and Microbit.
• Good ICT tools knowledge for learning and teaching.
• Experience managing children under 12.
• Experience in a primary school would be an advantage.
• Good planning and analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for briefing/training.
• Good classroom management.
• Able to multi-task and work independently or in a team.
• Trainer preferably registered with MOE.

Responsibilities

• Assist in nurturing the e-Learning/ePedagogy culture in the school.
• Create e-learning content and resources for home-based learning.
• Design and create digital/interactive resources for teachers.
• Conduct ICT-based customised training workshop for staff and students.
• Provide software and technical assistance to staff and students.
• Compile student showcase projects.
• Guide and coach students through ICT competitions.
• Provide assistance in development and research of IT solutions.
• Work closely with the HOD ICT to spearhead IT initiatives.
• Courses to be conducted by ICT Educator for classes or small groups of students.
• Touch Typing.
• Cyber Wellness topics.
• E-Learning Portal.
• Utilising Multimedia facilities (Scanner, Digital Camera).
• Basic photo editing (e.g. Adobe Photoshop).
• Presentation graphics for MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
• Microsoft Word (basic and advanced).
• Microsoft Excel (basic and advanced).
• Microsoft PowerPoint (basic and advanced).
• Basic video production.
• Coding in Scratch Junior, Scratch 3.0, Delightex and Microbit.
• Design Thinking Skills.
• Financial Literacy.
• Any other courses as required by school.
