A leading company is seeking an ICT Trainer to conduct engaging computing programs, and facilitate workshops using innovative edtech tools. The role involves developing coding skills in students and providing IT training to teachers while managing maker activities in a collaborative environment. Job Description & Requirements: ICT Trainer
• Conduct structured computing programmes on coding using Swift Playgrounds, Scratch, Micro:bit, and Makecode Arcade.
• Deliver app development sessions with Thunkable and GameSalad, and 3D printing workshops using Tinkercad and Sketchup.
• Facilitate design activities with Canva and Figma, maker projects with Cricut Design Space, graphics with Inkscape, AI with Apple Reality Composer, ML with Google Teachable Machine, and VR with 360 tour technologies.
• Conduct computing programmes on "Learning with iPad" as part of the 1:1 Personalised Learning Device Programme (PDLP).
• Lead sessions on Learning Google Workspace and Apple Classroom.
• Implement Edtech tools such as gamification, Augmented Reality, and Virtual Reality in teaching.
• Co-facilitate lower secondary Project Work in coding using the Design Thinking framework.
• Procure and maintain IT tools and software for programmes, workshops, and projects.
• Design lessons, organise, and conduct maker workshops for teachers, students, parents, and the public.
• Maintain the makerspace at the library and iSTEM STUDIO for workshop activities.
• Assist in providing IT training workshops to teachers on Edtech tools.
• Support in-house video productions and edit videos using Final Cut Pro.
• Assist in corporate gifts production using 3D printers, laser cutters, and Cricut machines.
*Makerspace is a collaborative environment for tinkering, making, learning, exploring, and prototyping with maker tools.
Public Address (PA) Responsibilities:
• Assist PA CCA teachers-in-charge in student training and support school events and functions.
• Support Operation Manager in maintaining the school PA system.
• Set up and host live streaming and events using OBS.
Other Duties:
• Support HOD/ICT, Subject Head/ICT, and ICT Manager in daily ICT routines and tasks.
• Assist Principal and Vice-Principals in other assigned tasks.
