Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networks, and cloud services.
- Ensure high levels of availability, performance, and security across all infrastructure components.
Network & Security Compliance:
- Lead network deployment projects, ensuring timely and successful implementation of network solutions.
- Work closely with vendors and third-party providers for Solution Architecture, Equipment procurement and installation.
- Provide Tier-3 support for Network & Security related issues and participate in a rotating Network Operations on-call schedule , including weekends, supporting a multi-vendor network for Enterprise Network.
- Create , maintain and review High Level Design , Low Level Design & Operational practices across the teams.
- Drive efficiencies through Automation.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard infrastructure and sensitive data.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to IT infrastructure and data management.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of IT infrastructure professionals, providing direction, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation within the team.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute infrastructure strategy aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Assess current infrastructure capacity and make recommendations for enhancements or upgrades.
Budget Management:
- Prepare and manage the IT infrastructure budget, making responsible financial decisions concerning infrastructure investments.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Utilize monitoring tools to maintain insights into performance and availability of the infrastructure.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on infrastructure status, issues, and future needs.
Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Conduct regular testing of disaster recovery procedures and update plans based on findings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management or related roles.
- Strong understanding of networks, servers, virtualization, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (ISO, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing IT teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Cisco CCNP, Microsoft Azure, or AWS certifications.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and methodologies.
