Job description

Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management:

• Oversee the design, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networks, and cloud services.
• Ensure high levels of availability, performance, and security across all infrastructure components.

Network & Security Compliance:

• Lead network deployment projects, ensuring timely and successful implementation of network solutions.
• Work closely with vendors and third-party providers for Solution Architecture, Equipment procurement and installation.
• Provide Tier-3 support for Network & Security related issues and participate in a rotating Network Operations on-call schedule , including weekends, supporting a multi-vendor network for Enterprise Network.
• Create , maintain and review High Level Design , Low Level Design & Operational practices across the teams.
• Drive efficiencies through Automation.
• Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard infrastructure and sensitive data.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to IT infrastructure and data management.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and manage a team of IT infrastructure professionals, providing direction, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation within the team.

Strategic Planning:

• Develop and execute infrastructure strategy aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Assess current infrastructure capacity and make recommendations for enhancements or upgrades.

Budget Management:

• Prepare and manage the IT infrastructure budget, making responsible financial decisions concerning infrastructure investments.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.

Monitoring and Reporting:

• Utilize monitoring tools to maintain insights into performance and availability of the infrastructure.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on infrastructure status, issues, and future needs.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:

• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies to minimize downtime and data loss.
• Conduct regular testing of disaster recovery procedures and update plans based on findings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management or related roles.
• Strong understanding of networks, servers, virtualization, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (ISO, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
• Proven leadership skills and experience managing IT teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Cisco CCNP, Microsoft Azure, or AWS certifications.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and methodologies.
