United World College of South East Asia (UWCSEA) East Campus invites applications for a Teacher of High School Physics and Coordinated Science to start August 2027. The appointee will teach IB Diploma Physics and Grade 9/10 Coordinated Science, mentor 14–18 students, and collaborate with a high school grade level team.

The Science Department offers well-resourced laboratories and a dynamic learning environment.

Qualifications

• A good degree and a recognized teaching qualification or certification.
• Active participation in Professional Learning.
• Pastoral leadership of a mentor group unless exempted due to other responsibilities.
• Willingness to participate in Activities, Outdoor Education, Personal and Social Education and Service.

Responsibilities

• Contribute positively to the collaborative culture of the Science and High School teams.
• Design learning experiences that challenge students and demonstrate concept-based teaching and learning.
• Ensure assessments provide timely, relevant feedback on formative and summative work.
• Demonstrate effective classroom management and communicate with parents about student progress.
