Job summary

EDU STAR Academic Centre PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an educator to teach IB/IGCSE Mathematics or Science (AA and AI, SL and HL) to international school students.

You will develop engaging materials aligned with the syllabus, guide students for exams and IAs, participate in planning meetings, and contribute to math-related posts. A bachelor’s degree in Math or Science and English plus Mandarin is ideal; both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Science, Engineering or related field.
• Strong command of English; Mandarin ideal.
• Capable of teaching Biology, Physics, Chemistry, or Environmental Systems and Societies (ESS).
• Experience teaching international curriculum preferred.
• IB Diploma or International A level graduates encouraged to apply.
• Responsible, patient, and able to communicate effectively with students.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Teach IB/IGCSE Mathematics or Science (AA and AI, SL and HL) to students in international schools.
• Develop and update engaging lesson materials aligned with the respective syllabus.
• Guide students in preparing for exams and completing IB IA.
• Participate in academic planning and teaching team discussions.
• Provide content input to math-related posts, study tips, or highlights of student achievements.
• Attend teacher meetings and contribute to teaching quality improvement.
