Job summary

Young Education is seeking a Full-Time Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team in Singapore, teaching Secondary to IB and IGCSE Maths for students at international schools. The role requires strong math foundations, English proficiency, and the ability to explain concepts clearly in English (and Chinese when needed).

Prior IB/IGCSE exposure is highly valued, with long-term engagement and collaboration with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in a highly quantitative discipline.
• Ability to teach Mathematics in English and Chinese.
• Experience with international curricula is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics to Secondary and High School students in Singapore.
• Cover IGCSE and IB Mathematics across SL/HL; AA/AI preferred.
• Assess gaps, develop personalised study plans and track progress.
• Prepare students for IGCSE, IB and other external assessments.
• Maintain records and communicate with parents and teams.

Skills

Strong mathematics foundation

Strong English command

Bilingual English-Mandarin (preferred)

Clear explanations of concepts

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics or quantitative field

Experience with IB/IGCSE curriculum (preferred)
