Job Description: IAM Specialist at Phreesia

Phreesia is seeking an IAM Specialist to join our expanding Security Engineering team. Our team combines skills in development, operations, and identity management, operating with API-first approaches to enhance security automation and repeatability. We foster a culture of continuous learning and sharing.

We recognize identity as a core component of our infrastructure, emphasizing Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA). Our goal is to build a robust, automated identity infrastructure leveraging tools like SailPoint, Okta, AWS SSO, AWS IAM, and Azure AD. The role involves improving and extending our identity systems and automating processes wherever possible.

The Security Engineering team is committed to modern application design principles, including infrastructure as code, continuous delivery, and embracing serverless architectures. We aim to embed security deeply into these practices.

Responsibilities

1. Analyze, design, develop, and support SailPoint integrations and expand our SSO and provisioning capabilities across internal applications.
2. Enhance our identity infrastructure with a focus on automation and API-driven solutions.
3. Serve as a subject matter expert on identity platforms and password management solutions like CyberARK.
4. Provide security advice and practical solutions to engineering teams and auditors, including automation for audit processes.
5. Understand environmental threats and contribute expertise to mitigate security risks.
6. Advocate for security best practices across organizational units.
7. Engage in ongoing learning and professional development within the security domain.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Deep knowledge of IGA systems, especially SailPoint.
• Strong understanding of identity technologies such as SAML, SSO, OpenID, OAuth.
• Experience with scripting, automation, and DevSecOps principles.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
