The Opportunity

Digital Transformation is central to Arup's strategy, integrating digital and data capabilities with traditional engineering, design, and consultancy to solve complex challenges and help clients adapt to the digital world.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop process systems, including preferred and feed studies of process technologies.
  2. Prepare conceptual and detailed design packages and evaluate them.
  3. Design, simulate, and optimize green hydrogen, green ammonia/methanol, and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) projects.
  4. Perform process analysis using first principles, including mass, energy, and activity balances, and hydraulic calculations.
  5. Review process deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs, basis of design, process descriptions, equipment specifications, and plant schedules related to hydrogen, green ammonia, green methanol, and SAF.
  6. Conduct safety and fault analysis, including SWIFT, HAZOP, HAZID, FMEA, FTA, etc.
  7. Develop process control schemes.
Experience and Qualifications

- MTech (Gate Qualified) in Chemical or Process Engineering.

- 5-7 years of experience in O&G, ammonia industry, or energy sector, with proficiency in process modeling and optimization.

- Hands-on experience with Aspen Plus, Aspen HYSYS, Matlab, and knowledge of Python, R, Power BI, or Tableau is preferred.

- Experience in report writing and presentations.
