Job summary

NTT SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a Messaging & Collaboration Engineer with strong SharePoint and SQL Server administration expertise. The role covers on-premises, hybrid, and Microsoft 365 environments, delivering secure, scalable collaboration services.

You will manage SharePoint farms, administer SQL Server, and develop PowerShell scripts to automate tasks, ensuring governance, security, and compliance across environments. 1-year fixed-term contract, client-site work required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Computing or equivalent professional experience.
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert and Azure Database Administrator Associate preferred.
• 3+ years of enterprise SharePoint and SQL Server administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain SharePoint farms and site collections.
• Perform patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Define and enforce governance policies and best practices.
• Support hybrid integration with Microsoft 365 services.
• Troubleshoot issues across SharePoint architecture.
• Administer SQL Server environments supporting SharePoint and other applications.
• Monitor and optimize database performance and resource utilization.
• Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
• Perform capacity planning and database maintenance.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks.
• Improve operational efficiency through automation and tooling.
• Generate reports for system health, usage, and compliance.
• Implement and enforce least-privilege access models.
• Ensure secure configurations aligned with enterprise policies.
• Support audit readiness and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with security teams to mitigate risks.
• Proactively monitors the work queues.
• Performs operational tasks to resolve incidents/requests within SLA.
• Identifies, investigates, analyses issues and logs incidents.
• Executes changes with risk mitigation captured in change records.
• Work with resolver groups and clients on escalations.
