Job summary

Nutanix is seeking a Resident Consultant to contribute to Services Delivery and Residency teams, delivering day-one IT virtualization consulting and day-two operations support. You will work within a hybrid services model, traveling 20–40% and visiting client sites, with a two-to-three day in-office expectation.

You will engage with customer IT teams onsite and remotely, applying your Nutanix product knowledge to plan and support implementations and operations across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in systems administration and virtualization technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Nutanix AOS/AHV and/or Hyper-V, VMware ESXi, or other converged platforms.
• Ability to independently analyze and diagnose highly complex problems across multiple platforms.
• Customer-centric approach and excellent communication skills.
• Confidence in conducting whiteboarding sessions and customer-facing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in service delivery engagements with customers’ IT teams onsite and remotely.
• Lead Nutanix product implementation, operation, and administration.
• Understand customers’ IT objectives and align daily activities accordingly.
• Plan strategic implementations and operational support for Nutanix environments.
• Deliver Nutanix implementations and cloud infrastructure operations support.
• Collaborate with architects to apply Nutanix best practices and accelerate adoption.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in customers’ IT environments.
• Collaborate with Sales to communicate new opportunities and updates.
• Support Nutanix service offerings or spot engagements as directed.
