Job summary

The National Library Board (NLB) invites applications for a strategic Finance & Procurement role focusing on advanced resource planning, data analytics and stakeholder advisory to support long-term planning and outcomes.

You will lead engagement, develop dashboards in Excel/Power BI, and provide recommendations to optimise resource allocation across divisions. This is a 2-year contract in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Preferably with at least 2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, strategic planning or business partnering roles.
• Good analytical capabilities with interest in strategic planning and resource allocation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Good command of English with strong presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic engagement with divisions on resource planning and utilisation.
• Conduct targeted consultations to understand business needs and strategic requirements.
• Provide expert advisory on resource optimisation for strategic initiatives.
• Facilitate alignment between financial resources and strategic outcomes.
• Build and maintain partnerships across divisions to enhance collaborative resource planning.
• Implement data-driven monitoring systems and dashboard development.
• Lead improvements in data storytelling and presentation of financial information.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for resource allocation based on analysis.
• Transform financial data into actionable insights for senior management.
• Develop and maintain performance metrics that link resource utilisation to outcomes.
