Job summary

SCIENTEC CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a dedicated Software QA Engineer for a contract role. You will drive test strategies, develop automated regression suites and support release validation to ensure high-quality software for clients.

The position requires 3–4 years of hands-on QA automation in Agile environments, with CI/CD integration, API testing tools, SQL knowledge and an emphasis on security testing. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of QA experience with strong hands-on automation in Agile environments.
• Experience designing end-to-end QA automation frameworks with CI/CD integration, test reporting and quality gates.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or equivalent.
• Experience with API Testing Tools (such as Postman, Newman, REST Assured or equivalent).
• Strong test design skills covering functional, regression, integration and negative testing, with basic SQL knowledge.
• Understanding of security testing, including authentication, authorisation, access controls and input validation, plus experience with defect/test management tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies, test plans, test data and regression test packs.
• Build and maintain automated regression suites using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or equivalent.
• Perform functional, API, integration, regression, smoke and release testing.
• Support UAT and production readiness, including test scenarios and release validation.
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines, manage defects and support security testing covering authentication, authorisation and access controls.
