Job summary

Good View Interiors Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Interior Designer/Drafter to develop design concepts, create 3D renderings and detailed drawings, and coordinate with clients and site teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

You should have a Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, at least 1 year of experience, and be proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion/Vray, Photoshop and PowerPoint. English and Mandarin are required, with a hybrid work arrangement in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or related field.
• At least 1 year of interior design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion/Vray, Photoshop, and PowerPoint.
• English and Mandarin required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Able to work under pressure and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with prospective clients to understand and develop the design brief.
• Develop conceptual design from guidelines given by clients or from scratch, and assure material & technical suitability. Create space planning, material and colour scheme specification on client needs.
• Create 3D renderings to visualize design concepts and perspective.
• Require onsite work including site measurement.
• Produce interior fit-out drawings including layout plan & elevations & detail drawings & carpentry drawing (AUTOCAD).
• Generate interior or structural drawings for submissions, client approval and construction.
• Able to cross-check drawings before submission to project team.
• Maintain proper records, updates of drawings and documentation to ensure easy retrieval.
• Update and check drawings for accuracy as necessary
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that design specifications are being implemented accurately and according to schedule.
