Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience managing MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience in hybrid cloud (AWS/Azure) and AWS RDS environments.
• Strong knowledge of Always On Availability Groups (AAG) and backup/recovery strategies.
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
• Familiarity with data warehousing, SSIS, and ETL processes.

Responsibilities

• Administer, optimize, and maintain MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases for high availability and performance.
• Manage databases in hybrid cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and AWS RDS, ensuring smooth operation and integration.
• Implement Always On Availability Groups (AAG) and develop disaster recovery strategies to ensure database uptime and integrity.
• Monitor, analyze, and fine-tune database performance. Automate routine database maintenance tasks to improve efficiency.
• Design and maintain data warehousing solutions, SSIS packages, and ETL processes for data integration and reporting.
