Adecco is partnering with a leading construction firm in Singapore with a strong track record in delivering large-scale commercial, residential, healthcare, and hospitality projects with excellence and reliability.

They are looking for a dedicated and technically proficient Assistant Manager, who have the experience in HVAC design, cleanroom commissioning, system integration, and technical issue resolution. Proficient in AutoCAD, REVIT, ISO 14644 standards, and clean utility systems.

The Job

  • Lead the conceptual and detailed design of cleanroom facilities, including systems such as HVAC, filtration, pressurization, airflow, and contamination control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams comprising mechanical, electrical, architectural, and process engineers to ensure cohesive design integration.
  • Review and approve design documents, technical submittals, and equipment specifications.
  • Evaluate design constructability and manage associated risks to ensure project feasibility and quality.
  • Develop and manage commissioning strategies, protocols, and schedules to support timely system startup and qualification.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during the commissioning phase, working closely with construction and QA/QC teams.
  • Oversee the installation, functional testing, and system validation of cleanroom-related systems (e.g., HVAC, automation, clean utilities).
  • Lead system handover processes, ensuring successful performance validation and obtaining client sign-off.
  • Provide technical support to construction and procurement teams, offering clarity on design and engineering queries.
  • Ensure full compliance with cleanroom regulations and industry standards, including ISO 14644, cGMP, and other relevant guidelines.



The Talent

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in high-tech or regulated environments, such as semiconductor or pharmaceutical facilities, ideally within a construction or engineering consultancy setting.
  • Deep understanding of cleanroom design standards, HVAC systems, commissioning protocols, and contamination control best practices.
  • Proficiency in project design and review tools such as AutoCAD, REVIT, and Navisworks is advantageous.
  • Effective communication skills in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
