Job summary

Bosch Singapore is seeking a Research Scientist to join our R&D team, contributing to HVAC technologies and sustainable building solutions. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and commercialize innovative capabilities.

Responsibilities include monitoring technology trends, defining research requirements, and building partnerships with local universities and institutes. You will drive advanced research in HVAC for residential and commercial buildings and help

Qualifications

PhD in Engineering with a focus on HVAC systems.
3-5 years of hands-on R&D or academic research in thermal modelling and related tools.
Experience evaluating thermal systems, energy management and building technologies.
Ability to translate research concepts into functional prototypes and communicate findings.

Responsibilities

Monitor technology development and generate innovations for Sustainable Building & HVAC.
Co-create with internal units to identify research needs and proposals.
Develop partnerships with local institutions for research collaborations.
Maintain alignment with stakeholders and pitch ideas within Bosch Innovation Framework.
Drive advanced HVAC research for residential and commercial buildings.
Generate invention reports and patents tied to commercialization.
