Qualifikationen

• PhD in Engineering with a focus on HVAC systems.
• 3-5 years in R&D engineering or academic research involving thermal system modeling, simulations, heat and mass transfer, cycle/control, data analytics or ML.
• Expertise in evaluating/benchmarking thermal systems, energy management, and building technologies; understanding of emerging cycles and digitalization.

Aufgaben

• Monitor latest technology developments and generate innovations to support business growth in Sustainable Building & HVAC solutions.
• Co-create with internal units to identify business needs and research requirements; conduct customer interviews and formulate problem statements; generate innovation pitches and research proposals.
• Build cooperation with Singapore ecosystem partners (local institutions/universities) for research/innovation collaborations, fostering outside-in innovation.
• Maintain alignment with internal customers and Portfolio Owners; provide periodical updates and idea pitches via Bosch Innovation Framework.
• Drive advanced research in HVAC technology for residential and commercial buildings; address academic and industrial challenges.
• Generate invention reports and patents; collaborate with internal units for commercialization.
