Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support with overseeing assigned project and contract sites.
• Design, planning, testing, commissioning, and on-site supervision of BMS per project plans.
• Testing and commissioning for BMS, FAS, and Security Systems; prepare submittals, method statements, and OSE/OM docs.
• Provide after-service follow-up and solutions to maintain customers' control or BMS system.
• Review expenditures for small projects and ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Update project schedules and prepare management correspondences and documents.
• Act as primary customer contact, build professional relationships, and understand customer needs.
• Communicate and track job schedules for project team members; support timely completion.
• Adjust orders for scope changes on small projects.

Role Responsibilities

• Report directly to Manager or Project Manager, providing engineering support with overseeing assigned project and contract sites to ensure effective daily operations, customer satisfaction, and performance management.
• Responsible for the design, planning, testing, commissioning, software programming, and on-site supervision of BMS in line with project plans and contract specifications.
• Conduct testing and commissioning for BMS, FAS, and Security Systems, including preparation of technical submittals, method statements, compliance documentation, OSE Report and O&M manuals.
• Provide after service follow up and solution to maintain customers' control or BMS system

Role Purpose

• Support system setup, programming, and commissioning activities.
• Support project manager with project execution, testing, and troubleshooting, and gaining hands-on experience in HVAC, energy management, and building automation.
• Acquire and apply technical knowledge in HVAC systems, energy management, and building automation technologies.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a Diploma or Degree qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
• Demonstrate interest in building automation, energy efficiency, and smart building technologies.
• Experiences in control systems or IT networks is beneficial. Demonstrated hands-on experience in Building Management Systems (BMS), with a good understanding of HVAC systems, lighting controls, and building automation technologies.
• Knowledge of building automation protocols, programming language and system integration.
• Display strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication capabilities.
• Capable working in construction area or high stress environment.
• Willing to work in odd working hours, e.g.: after working hours or midnight.

Summary

Responsible for documenting and analyzing information for small projects. Acts as a primary contact for customers and assists with resolving customer needs, may escape complex issues for resolution.

Job Description

• Reviews all expenditures for small projects on a monthly basis and to ensure the accuracy of all invoices/applications for payment in accordance with purchase order and subcontract terms and conditions.
• Also ensures that they are processed (approved/authorized) in a timely manner.
• Updates project schedules regularly and prepare project management correspondences and documents on all aspects of the implementation phases, including customer meeting minutes, team assignments/action item tracking, letters, memorandums, transmittals and RFIs.
• Acts as the primary contact with customers, develops a professional relationship, and understands the customer needs to meet those within the bounds of contracted scope.
• Communicates and tracks job schedule for all project team members to support timely completion of project.
• Adjusts orders for any changes to the scope for small projects.

Minimum Requirements

• Requires theoretical knowledge obtained through a University degree
• Limited to some knowledge of Carrier organization
• University Degree or equivalent
• Less than 3 years prior relevant experience
