Job summary

NES GLOBAL PTE. LTD. is representing a New Zealand electrical engineering and infrastructure services organisation specializing in construction, testing, commissioning and maintenance of critical electrical power systems.

We seek experienced Power Systems Technicians to join operations across New Zealand, including transmission and distribution substations and renewable energy facilities. The role involves hands-on testing, troubleshooting and site-based electrical works, with travel between

Qualifications

Recognised electrical trade qualification or equivalent.
New Zealand registration as Electrician or eligible for registration with EWRB.
Willingness to travel across New Zealand and work away from home.

Responsibilities

Undertake electrical testing, inspection and commissioning on power systems and infrastructure.
Perform pre-commissioning checks and functional testing per procedures.
Support testing of HV and LV installations and energisation under site safety rules.
Interpret drawings and technical documentation; prepare testing records and checklists.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and elevate safety and quality standards on site.
