Job summary

Menlo Research in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, analyze, and validate the structural systems of Asimov, a humanoid robot. This role involves hands-on mechanical design and the development of components that ensure optimal performance as part of the electromechanical system.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in mechanical design, proficient in Solidworks, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. Join us on our journey to redefine robotic capabilities!

Qualifications

• 3 or more years of hands-on mechanical design experience.
• Strong proficiency in Solidworks.
• Proven track record with sheet metal fabrication.
• Experience with GD&T and producing 2D engineering drawings.
• Ability to run FEA simulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical assemblies for humanoid robots.
• Run hands-on test rigs: load testing and kinematic validation.
• Collaborate with firmware and electrical teams on integrations.
• Contribute to open-source design efforts.

Skills

Mechanical design experience on high-complexity electromechanical products
