Humanities-Global Perspective and Eco/Business Studies Teacher

Responsibilities

1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
2. Understanding curriculum standards and Principles of Humanities-Global Perspective and Economics or Business Studies.
3. Creating stimulating lesson plans to foster maximum student engagement in Humanities (Global Perspective and Economics or Business Studies).
4. Developing in the students the capacity to identify, analyze critically, and evaluate theories, concepts, and arguments about the nature and activities of the individual and society.
5. Enabling the student to collect, describe, and analyze data used in studies of society, and to test hypotheses and interpret complex data and source material.
6. Promoting the appreciation of the way in which learning is relevant to both the culture in which the student lives and the cultures of other societies.
7. Developing an awareness in the student that human attitudes and opinions are widely diverse and that a study of society requires an appreciation of such diversity.
8. Enabling the student to recognize that the content and methodologies of the individuals and societies subjects are contestable and that their study requires the tolerance of uncertainty.
9. Encouraging the systematic and critical study of: human experience and behavior; physical, economic, and social environments; the history and development of social and cultural institutions.
10. Promoting awareness of the importance of environmental, social, and ethical factors in the actions of individuals and organizations.
11. Adjusting teaching practices to support differentiated learning.
12. Creating awareness of the importance of environmental, social, and ethical factors in the actions of individuals and organizations.
13. Enabling the student to appreciate the nature and significance of change in a local, regional, and global context.
14. Willing to teach across the age and ability ranges from CLSP and IGCSE (Grades 6 to 10).
15. Identifying and teaching study skills that will develop students' ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
16. Planning activities and worksheets to include approaches to learning.

Requirements

1. Preferred Masters in the desired Subject with International Teaching Qualification.
2. Computer literacy is required to work on software.
3. Fluent English Level: reading, writing, speaking; a professional command of the English language.
4. Strong technology application skills.
5. Ability to support Blended and Hybrid Learning.
6. Competent in applying the principles of Digital Pedagogy.
