About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to oversee end-to-end HR operations for our Singapore office. This role will manage recruitment, work pass applications, payroll administration, training coordination, compliance, and employee lifecycle processes. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth HR operations while adhering to local labor laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer negotiations.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Facilitate seamless onboarding for new hires, including documentation and orientation.
Work Pass & Visa Administration
- Process and renew employment passes, dependent passes, and other work visas in compliance with Singapore MOM regulations.
- Liaise with government agencies and external vendors for timely submissions and updates.
Payroll & Benefits Management
- Oversee accurate monthly payroll calculations, including CPF contributions, taxes, and statutory deductions.
- Administer employee benefits (e.g., insurance, leave entitlements) and resolve payroll-related queries.
Training & Development
- Coordinate training programs, track participation, and evaluate effectiveness.
- Support performance management processes and career development initiatives.
Compliance & Employee Relations
- Ensure adherence to Singapore labor laws (e.g., Employment Act, PDPA) and update HR policies as needed.
- Address employee inquiries, mediate issues, and foster a positive workplace culture.
HR Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data confidentiality.
- Generate HR reports on headcount, turnover, and other metrics for management review.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to align HR initiatives with business goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in Singapore.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore labor laws, work pass processes, and payroll systems (e.g., HRIS, SAP).
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin or other languages is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office and HR software.
