Salary Range: $6000 – $8000 / monthly
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead the human resources functions within our food and beverage operations. This role demands a strong background in managing frontline restaurant or cafe staff in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will be based on-site at our F&B outlets and play a vital role in enhancing staff performance, engagement, and compliance with HR policies and regulations.
Oversee all HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and exit procedures for frontline F&B staff.
Support and supervise outlet managers and supervisors in managing staff schedules, resolving conflicts, and boosting team performance.
Ensure adherence to local labor laws and internal HR policies and procedures.
Collaborate with the operations team to address staffing needs, manage absenteeism, and ensure adequate manpower during busy service hours.
Foster a positive work environment through initiatives that improve staff morale, engagement, and retention.
Conduct regular staff check-ins, performance reviews, and on-site HR audits.
Manage payroll processing, attendance monitoring, and leave management.
Prepare HR reports and insights for senior management review.
Continuously improve and implement HR SOPs tailored to the unique needs of our F&B outlets.
Minimum of 5 years' HR experience, with at least 3 years in a retail, F&B, or hospitality setting managing frontline teams.
Strong knowledge of retail and F&B operations, shift scheduling, and manpower planning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (Mandarin or local dialects are a plus).
Good understanding of employment laws and HR best practices in a customer service environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems, including time attendance and payroll software.
Comfortable with a hands-on, on-site role, working daily with restaurant or cafe staff.
Prior experience in the F&B, hospitality, or food service industries.
Experience managing HR functions across multiple outlets or locations.
