Qualifications

Job description

The incumbent will be the HR Business Partner for the Company and also provide consultative support to associate companies within the Singapore market. The successful candidate would have strong experience in communication and stakeholder management as well as having an effective working knowledge across the HR disciplines of Compensation & Benefits, Talent Management, Recruitment, Employee Relations/ Industrial Relations, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Organisational Effectiveness and Learning & Development.

Strategic HR Management & Business Partnering

  • Work with senior management to develop and implement HR plans and solutions to achieve strategic business initiatives
  • Manage full employee life cycle from recruitment, onboarding to offboarding.
  • Ensure smooth execution of the annual HR cycles i.e. performance management and compensation & benefits review
  • Coach line managers on their people and business leadership to support the development of their leadership capabilities and their impact as a role model
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive the continuous learning cycle of employees
  • Collaborate with COEs to drive employee engagement of business functions through focus groups and agreed action plans
  • Strengthen internal succession plans through employee development programmes and interventions
  • Support compliance activities related to employment policies
  • Support union engagement activities and participate in Collective Bargaining exercises
  • Lead people change management and transformation projects i.e. SAP Success Factors Enhancement, Compensation & Benefits Project

Recruitment

  • Design and implement Talent Acquisition Program, including Management Trainee / Internship Program to nurture talent pipeline.
  • Formulate and lead recruitment campaigns, university engagement and career fair initiatives/ activities.
  • Coach and/or train existing and new line managers on their interviewing techniques (i.e. competency-based interviews)
  • Manage recruitment budget across the respective functions; utilising cross-country expertise as needed and managing all the recruitment channels directly
  • Ensure new joiners undergo an effective and engaging orientation process to ensure great employee experience
  • Lead employer branding activities for the Company; working with Group and Regional stakeholders to ensure that the EVP are in sync and will deliver meaningful messages to both internal and external stakeholders

Internal Communications

  • Drive effective and meaningful employee engagement through the varied internal communication channels i.e. internal memos, company Whatsapp
  • Own the local intranet portal and work with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that it becomes the heartbeat of engagement activities
  • Be the focal point for all internal communications
  • Organise and lead monthly Townhalls
  • Organise and lead annual dinner and dance in conjunction with annual business conference

Others

  • As a member of a dynamic and fast paced organisation, the successful incumbent would need to be agile and flexible in supporting other relevant HR tasks to ensure seamless HR delivery to the organisation

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree (Business, Human Resource or equivalent)
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the fast-moving consumer goods industry and in a multi-national company
  • Certification in relevant HR expertise is an added advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (i.e. Words, Excel, Power Point & Outlook)
  • Fluent in reading and writing in English. Mandarin fluency is an added advantage
  • Strong interpersonal skills to support employees at various levels and thrive in a multi-cultural environment
  • Excellent presentation & communication skills
  • Knowledge in local employment act, SAP success factors and income tax is an added advantage
  • Strong personal drive for results, open, outgoing and a team player
