A leading company in Singapore is seeking an HR Manager to oversee a full spectrum of HR activities across assigned business units. Responsibilities include managing employee life cycles, advising on HR policies, driving recruitment, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Ideal candidates will possess a degree in HR Management and have at least 5 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, showcasing strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Handle full HR spectrum for the assigned Business Unit/s
Oversee the full spectrum and HR administrative work of employees’ life cycles from on boarding to off boarding, including confirmation, contract renewals and re-employment
Support and advise managers and employees on HR policies and procedures
Handle employees’ relations matters including disciplinary issues, grievances, absenteeism and other employee disputes
Collaborate with General Manager, HR and Heads of Business Units to develop and implement HR strategies
Work with Corporate HR in deploying and implementing Group HR policies, including customization
Drive recruitment for all open positions within the Business Unit/s
Provide guidance on workforce planning, recruitment, and talent development
Manage foreign workers matter which include work passes, accommodation/transport as required
Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting and evaluations
Keep abreast of employment laws and ensure compliance with local and national employment laws and regulations
Gather and analyze HR data to identify trends and recommend solutions
Prepare HR related reports required by internal stakeholders
Serve as a liaison between HR department and business units
Conduct employee training on HR-related topics as needed
Support employees’ engagement programmes
Manage HR projects and initiatives as assigned
Requirements:
Candidate must possess Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Studies/ Administration/ Management or equivalent.
At least 5 years of similar working experience in a mid to large-size organization with a fast-paced environment.
Experience in handling relationship with Union would be an advantage
Meticulous in details and a team player.
Possesses strong collaboration, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
People management experience in managing a small team
Self-motivated and driven HR professional
Passion in working with people and serving employees in all HR related matters
