Job summary

A leading company in the drilling industry is looking for an HR Manager to oversee HR operations across Singapore and Malaysia. The role involves managing a team and handling recruitment, compensation, and policy development to attract and retain talent. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in HR management along with expertise in local regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in HR and talent management.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including Foreign Work Pass regulations in Singapore and Malaysia.

Job description

  • Manage a team of HR staff and office administrators based in Singapore and Malaysia.
  • Responsible for full HR spectrum management including recruitment, compensation and benefits management, development of policies and employee remuneration package.
  • Partner MD and HODs to develop and implement HR policies, strategies and processes to retain and attract talent for our growing needs and improve manpower productivity.
  • Provide advice on employee relations issues in ways that foster a cohesive and collaborative workplace.
  • Conduct annual job grading, salary banding and annual performance evaluation.
  • Prepare and process monthly payroll, benefit compensation, reimbursement, monthly CPF contribution, yearly IR8A submission and govenment claims for local and overseas employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field
  • Min 10 years of experience in HR and talent management
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including Foreign Work Pass regulations in Singapore and Malaysia
  • Need to travel to Malaysia a few times in a month
