A leading educational institution in Singapore is seeking an HR Business Partner to manage the full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, and compliance with labour laws. The ideal candidate will possess a Degree in HR or Business, with 1-3 years of relevant experience and strong interpersonal skills. This position offers a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to shape HR practices within the organization.
To perform a full spectrum of HR functions and provide effective HR business partnering support to the business units in all HR matters:
Strategic HR Business Partnering
Manage end-to-end employee life cycle – from talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, employee relations matters, performance management to off-boarding
Serve as the primary HR contact for designated business units or departments.
Build strong relationships with school leaders and stakeholders to understand their needs and proactively address HR-related challenges.
Provide expert and timely advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes.
2. Talent Acquisition and Management
Support business units in recruitment efforts to meet organizational needs
Provide expert and timely advice to business units on HR policies and procedures
Foster strong employee communication and engagement with the stakeholders
Evaluate recruitment channels, explore new channels and optimize recruitment processes
Manage employee grievances and complaints effectively, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to organizational policies and labor laws.
Conduct investigations, where necessary, and recommend appropriate actions to address misconduct or performance issues, grievances
Assist in the formulation, review, and update of HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Assist in the planning and execution of employer branding initiatives aimed at building the organisation’s reputation as an employer of choice.
Initiate and execute projects for process improvement and/or system enhancements
Handle ad-hoc duties/ projects as assigned
Degree/ Diploma in Business & Human Resource related studies
Minimum 1-3 years of HR generalist experience (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
Meticulous and organised team player who is able to multi-task in a dynamic working environment
Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
Good knowledge of Employment Acts and HR practices
Knowledge of Times Software will be an added advantage
Proficient in Proficiency in Microsoft Suites (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Relevant job experience in International School (K12) or in Education field would be an added advantage.
