Job description

As a Human Resource Executive, you will be responsible for HR Generalist role, assist the HR Manager in providing the full spectrum of human resources work, and to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of the various human resource operations and HR projects.

Responsibilities: -

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including placing advertisements, conducting phone screenings, shortlisting, arranging interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process

  • Plan and facilitate the onboarding process, including employment contracts and orientation

  • Collaborate with relevant departments and hiring managers to assess hiring needs effectively

  • Rationalize all recruitment channels in terms of rates, services, terms & conditions

  • Handle work pass application/renewal/cancellation and monitor work pass quota, familiar with WPOL, EPOL and MyMOM portal

  • Conduct employee orientation sessions and prepare various employment-related documents, including employment letters, confirmation letters, transfer notices, certification letter etc

  • Update and maintain all HR databases and files including personnel records, payroll records and ensure data accuracy and integrity

  • Coordinate and track all training activities, administer training grants, and support execution of learning programs and annual training plans

  • Administer the Talentsoft system, support performance review cycles, and assist in driving performance and development initiatives.

  • Drive employee engagement activities, special projects in areas such as employee retention and recreation program, CSR, career fair and employee awards

  • Ensure compliance with legislative guidelines for overtime hours and assist with insurance and medical claims processing.

  • Offer HR support for projects to improve HR operations and provide guidance on legislation, policies, and day-to-day employee inquiries.

  • Assist with general administration such as Organization chart and other ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Pre-requisites:

  • At least a Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an HR Executive or in any similar role.

  • Knowledge and understanding of HR Cycle.

  • Basic knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

  • Motivated individual and possesses good planning and follow-up skills.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Meticulous and well-organized individual.

  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally and discretely.
