Job description

The role requires the incumbent to handle the full spectrum of HR duties, including recruitment, payroll processing, and employee lifecycle management.

It also involves ensuring compliance with regulatory submissions, supporting employee engagement initiatives, and driving HR-related projects in collaboration with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Assistant/HR Manager in managing all HR functions.
  • Process payroll and medical claims accurately using Infotech systems.
  • Manage and maintain employee records, leave, and attendance databases via Infotech, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Administer work passes, including application, renewal, cancellation, and issuance processes.
  • Oversee employee lifecycle processes, such as recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, and offboarding.
  • Collaborate with department heads on learning and development plans, recruitment strategies, confirmations, and resignations.
  • Ensure timely submission of CPF contributions, claims like Childcare/Maternity/Paternity Leave, NS Make-Up Pay, and income tax filings (IR8A and IR21).
  • Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly HR reports for management review.
  • Address general employee HR inquiries and provide relevant advice or support.
  • Take on ad-hoc HR projects or administrative tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • Over five years of HR generalist experience, preferably within engineering or contract manufacturing industries.
  • Proven ability to manage payroll and associated systems like Infotech.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, capable of fostering teamwork across departments.
  • Proficiency in HR operations, including regulatory submissions and compliance handling.
