A prominent construction company in Singapore seeks an HR leader to develop and implement HR strategies, ensuring compliance with local labour laws and managing HR operations. The ideal candidate has significant HR experience in leadership roles, particularly within the construction industry. Offering competitive compensation and opportunities for professional growth.
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s business needs.
Oversee compliance with local labour laws, MOM regulations, and safety training certifications (e.g., BCA/WSH requirements).
Establish HR policies and procedures that support a productive and safe work environment on-site and in the office.
Drive employee engagement, retention programs, and performance appraisal systems.
Advise senior management on workforce planning, compensation structures, and organizational development.
Oversee HR team operations including payroll, recruitment, training, and HRIS systems.
Mediate and resolve employee relations issues and disciplinary actions in a timely and fair manner.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related field; HR certifications preferred (e.g., SHRM, IHRP).
Minimum 8–10 years of HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role within the construction or engineering industry.
Strong understanding of Singapore labour regulations, foreign manpower rules, and construction sector manpower challenges.
Proven experience in change management, leadership development, and workforce engagement.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with site teams, management, and external authorities.
Proficient in HR systems and tools.
