A leading HR firm is seeking a Compensation and Benefits Specialist to ensure compliance and manage compensation processes. The role involves data analysis, budget management, and engaging practices to attract and retain talent. Candidates should have a degree in HR or related fields, along with analytical and interpersonal skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current legislation.
Assess employees needs by conducting surveys to find out what motivates and engages employees.
Use various methods and techniques and make data-based decisions on direct financial, indirect financial and nonfinancial compensations.
Responsible for the end-to-end annual salary review and bonus process by working closely with all Business Line leaders to ensure salaries and bonuses proposed are within approved budget.
Lead the annual manpower budget exercise jointly with Finance to ensure timely and in full submission of the budget.
Analyse trends in benefits especially medical benefits and insurances for insights and market trends in developing a compelling and competitive proposal for annual insurances renewal and forward-looking benefits to attract, retain and motivate high quality employees.
Draft and recommend revisions to leave policies to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
Manage and maintain the leave module in the HRIS system and full spectrum of benefit programs.
Prepare job descriptions, job analysis, job evaluations and job classifications for internal and external salary benchmarking purposes.
Participate in salary and labour market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits.
Deploy effective communication strategies and success metrics.
Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues, and best practices.
Conduct periodic audits and prepare ad-hoc data requests and reports for employment trends, such as salary expectations predictions for the new year.
Requirements:
Degree in Human Resources/Business/Organization Development or equivalent.
3 years of relevant work experience in compensation and benefits.
Good knowledge and experience in leading practices and trends in Total Rewards.
Good with numbers and possess strong analytical skills.
Able to work independently without supervision.
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
