Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly capable and motivated Human Resource Officer to join our Strategy & Planning Department. This role blends traditional HR operations and administrative management with forward-looking responsibilities in sustainability communication, strategy support, and internal culture building. The ideal candidate is passionate about green innovation, eager to learn, and comfortable in a fast-evolving startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resource Strategy & Operations

● Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals and ESG values.

● Manage full-cycle recruitment and selection to support fast-paced team expansion.

● Oversee onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training programs for full-time staff and interns.

● Develop engagement, retention, and performance initiatives tailored to a multidisciplinary, mission-driven team.

● Manage performance appraisal systems ensuring transparency and fairness.

● Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.

● Ensure legal compliance and adherence to Singapore Employment Act, safety regulations and company regulations throughout human resource management

● Develop and maintain HR policies, handbooks, and process documentation.

● Maintain employee records in accordance with legal and company requirements.

● Monitor payroll, leave, compensation, and benefits administration.

Organizational Culture & Development

● Promote a people-first, green-conscious workplace culture aligned with SINGRASS’s sustainability values.

● Identify team strengths and gaps; propose HR solutions to maximize organizational potential.

● Encourage innovation, learning, and creative thinking among team members.

● Support ESG reporting and internal communications around HR and workplace culture.

Administrative & Operational Excellence

● Manage company facilities, including utilities, insurance, and building maintenance.

● Oversee company vehicle operations, including insurance, gas cards, taxes, and servicing.

● Provide administrative support for the sales and marketing team, including sales enquiry coordination.

● Monitor and guide sales and marketing interns in day-to-day operations.

Strategic & Cross-Functional Collaboration

● Participate in company-wide initiatives related to sustainability branding, public outreach, and project planning.

● Assist in planning internal events, public communications, and digital touchpoints (e.g., social media, company website).

● Work closely with other departments to ensure HR and admin strategies enable cross-border scaling and innovation.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

● Familiarity with labor laws, HR operations, and office administration in Singapore.

● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; fluency in English is essential, Mandarin is a plus because communicating with English and Chinese speaking colleagues are required.

● Strong problem-solving, planning, and leadership skills.

● Proficient in MS Office and HR software platforms.

● A strong personal interest in sustainable living, indoor ecological health, and workplace wellness.

● Fast learner with strong digital literacy, including familiarity with modern communication platforms and social media.
