A leading company in the food industry is seeking an HR Assistant to support recruitment, employee onboarding, and daily HR operations. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in HR management and at least one year of relevant experience. This role involves ensuring compliance with local labor laws and managing employee records, making it essential for maintaining a productive workplace.
Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
Handle employee onboarding and offboarding processes, and maintain accurate employee records
Support daily HR operations such as attendance tracking, leave management, and employee benefits
Assist with payroll processing and performance appraisal coordination
Organize staff engagement activities and training programs
Manage work pass applications and renewals
Handle Ministry of Manpower (MOM) surveys, inspections, and government reporting
Coordinate employee medical check-ups and manage staff insurance matters
Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, MOM regulations, and company HR policies
Diploma or higher in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 1 year of relevant HR experience preferred
Knowledge of work pass applications and MOM procedures
Familiarity with and adherence to Singapore employment laws and HR best practices
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle confidential information professionally
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
