Responsibilities
- Hands-on experience with the full spectrum of payroll functions.
- Lead employee onboarding, conduct orientation sessions, develop onboarding materials, and oversee exit interviews.
- Experience in recruitment through direct and indirect channels.
- Manage a team of five HR staff members.
- Plan and coordinate corporate social activities.
- Handle staff disciplinary issues and mediate between management and employees regarding demands, grievances, or operational issues.
- Review all employee correspondence and official letters.
- Provide recommendations and advice to management on procedures, policies, and regulatory compliance; align HR plans with business strategies.
- Handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion, especially at the top management level.
- Prepare and submit reports for management review.
- Monitor and ensure HR activities comply with legal requirements.
- Support departments in developing strategic HR plans aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with Malaysia and the parent company, including timely report submissions and policy implementations.
- Administer annual performance reviews and recommend improvements.
- Regularly review and update company policies.
- Conduct and analyze MOM surveys.
- Participate in staff investigations related to disciplinary issues and fraud, providing reports and management recommendations.
- Review and process group medical insurance renewals.
- Work with auditors to identify HR gaps.
- Review HR work plans annually and recommend process improvements.
- Participate in company activities and initiatives.
- Monitor HR department costs and budgets.
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
