Role overview:

We are looking for an experienced Human Resource(HR) Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership for the HR function. This temporary role (maternity coverage) will drive HR initiatives to align our company’s goal, supporting a high-performance culture, and ensuring operational excellence across all HR disciplines. This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position is to commence in late July for approximately 12 months working on a fixed term contract basis.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with HR Director to ensure any Talent strategies and programmes are rolled out to the SG & MY in line with Global initiatives.
  • Work with HR Director and Global team to carry out compensation reviews for bonus/merit rounds.
  • Deliver precise and compliant HR operations in a timely manner and with the highest degree of accuracy
  • Be accountable for HR processes such as talent development, succession planning, performance assessments, onboarding, culture and engagement initiatives that drive a high performing team
  • Oversee processing of payroll changes, reporting and system setup, integration etc
  • Work with people managers across the business on performance management, organizational design, employee engagement, rewards- and workforce planning
  • Coach and advise people managers on the full spectrum of employee relations issues across multiple countries
  • Partner with people managers to support the delivery of appropriate training and development programs
  • Design, implements and monitors a variety of HR program and deliver on business-critical HR related projects globally
  • Lead the team in providing HR services including employment contract, training, payroll and benefits, and P-file management whilst ensuring all processes are fully compliant internally and externally upkeep the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes.
  • Lead and provide guidance on procedures such as Disciplinaries, Raising Concerns (Grievances), Probations, Redundancies, Terminations, Transfers, domestic inquiries etc.
  • Compliance - Lead POC for ensuring HR department is compliant ahead of annual audits - internal and external.
  • Manage ad-hoc HR related tasks, projects etc

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource or business administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in HR, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Approachable, flexible, adapts well to changing priorities.
  • Excellent at planning, organizing and carrying out objectives.
  • KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:Ability to make things happen, perseverance.
  • Sound knowledge of labor and industry relations laws and practices (SG/MY)
  • Knowledge in using Info-Tech, SuccessFactors and Concur would be an added advantage.
  • Resourceful, self-motivated, and committed to upholding professional integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to tailor message based on audience are also required
  • The ability to build strong relationships and achieve results working with others is required
  • Must be able to operate with sense of urgency with demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, develop and execute action plans and evaluate the results of action plans
  • Must have strong problem-solving track record with the ability to drive to root cause
  • Ability to get things done through others while balancing the HR implications of change
  • High IT literacy and excellent numerical and analytical skills, including Microsoft Office and/ or other relevant HR systems
