Job summary
A staffing agency in Singapore is seeking an HR Assistant to support various HR functions. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in HR roles, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication abilities. Responsibilities include assisting with payroll, updating employee records, and coordinating HR projects. Candidates must be willing to work on weekends and public holidays.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position.
- Fast computer typing skills (MS Office, in particular).
- Hands-on experience with an HRIS or HRMS.
- Familiarity with ATS software and resume databases.
- Basic knowledge of labor laws.
- Excellent organizational and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day to day operations of HR functions and duties.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to HR executives.
- Compile and update employee records.
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities.
- Coordinate HR projects and take minutes.
- Handle employee requests regarding human resources issues.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data.
- Communicate with public services when necessary.
- Handle complaints and grievance procedures.
- Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews.
- Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees.
- Assist recruiters to source candidates.
Skills
Proven experience in HR or administrative roles
Fast typing skills (MS Office)
Hands-on experience with HRIS/HRMS
Familiarity with ATS software

Responsibilities

- Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc.)
- Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc.) and take minutes
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.)
- Communicate with public services when necessary
- Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
- Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
- Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
- Assist our recruiters to source candidates and update our database
- Must work on weekend and public holiday
