Job Purpose and Role:

The Human Resource Executive / Senior Executive will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resource department. This role serves as a contact between the HR department and the rest of the organization. You will improve your critical skills such as communication, negotiation and mediation, and HR knowledge in payroll and employment regulations and practices in Singapore. General duties and responsibilities:

  • Oversee HR Department & manage the full spectrum of HR functions.
  • Understand and execute staffing requisition, requirements, and issues from all departments.
  • Ensure integrity and confidentiality while maintaining accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Responsible for work pass administration such as work pass applications, renewal, cancellation, and issuance.
  • Perform daily HR duties from recruitment, interviews, onboarding and offboarding.
  • Draft and update documents such as job descriptions, employee handbook, performance appraisal, forms, SOP, policies, and other HR related documents.
  • Handle payroll functions including tracking, preparation, and processing of payroll data.
  • Work with external benefits providers, vendors, and government regulatory bodies which may include (but not limited to) MOM, LTA, CPF Board, health, and insurance plan providers to ensure accurate updating of records and timely renewal and/or submissions of claims and reports.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and support organizational development activities.
  • Assist with planning and execution of HR and/or company events such as training, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and celebrations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or Administrative / Business Studies.
  • At least 2 years of HR working experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
  • Proficient in HR Payroll Infotech software is a plus.
